Tamoya Thomas, MSN,PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Welcome! I’m Tamoya Thomas, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the proud owner of Amoy Mental Wellness, where mental health care is rooted in warmth, understanding, and culturally competent care. My mission is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a space where you feel truly heard, valued, and supported. I’ve built this practice to provide a safe, welcoming space for individuals to prioritize their mental well-being.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and more using evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs. Whether through medication management, therapy-based interventions, or lifestyle changes. My goal is to empower you to feel your best and create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs.
I know that reaching out for help isn’t always easy, especially in communities where mental health is often overlooked. That’s why I’m committed to breaking the stigma and making quality care accessible and judgment-free.
When I’m not working with patients, you can find me traveling, spending time with family, or getting lost in an ocean documentary (because, let’s be honest, the deep sea is fascinating).
Healing is a journey, and you don’t have to walk it alone. Let’s take this next step together—I can’t wait to work with you!
"You are allowed to be both a work in progress and a masterpiece at the same time."
